DigiPulse (formerly Phone Mood Translator) respects your privacy and is designed to work entirely offline without collecting, storing, or transmitting any personal data.

📱 Overview
DigiPulse is a digital wellbeing tool designed to help you understand your phone usage habits. It provides insights through usage heatmaps, mood analysis, and screen time limits. No data ever leaves your device.

🔒 1. Information Collection and Use
  The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
  
  No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide an email to use the app.
  Local Analysis: All usage analysis and mood calculations are performed locally on your device.
  Zero Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics, advertisements, or tracking services.


⚙️ 2. Android Permissions
  DigiPulse requires specific permissions to function. Each is used solely for the feature described:
  
  Usage Access Permission (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS)
  Used to calculate app usage duration and unlock frequency. This is the core of the app's analysis and works identically to Android's built-in "Digital Wellbeing"    feature.
  
  Notification Permission
  Used to send you alerts when you exceed your self-set usage or social media limits.
  
  Battery Optimization (REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS)
  Used to ensure the background worker can accurately track usage even when the app is not in the foreground.
  
  Foreground Service
  Used to process data efficiently in the background without being interrupted by the system.


💾 3. Data Storage
  All data generated by the app is stored in a private, local Room database on your device:

  Usage History & Heatmap Data: Hourly and daily usage statistics.
  Daily Mood Journal ("Future Notes"): Any notes or reflections you choose to write are saved only on your phone.
  Mascot/Mood States: Calculated mood results and Mascot animations.
  
  IMPORTANT
    Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data. We have no way to recover this data for you as it is never backed up to a cloud server.

🌐 4. Internet Access
  DigiPulse does not have internet access permission. It cannot connect to the web, make network requests, or upload your data. Your digital habits remain 100%        private.

📚 5. Third-Party Libraries
  The app uses the following open-source libraries for local functionality only. None of these libraries collect or transmit data:

  MPAndroidChart: For rendering usage charts and trends.
  Room Database: For local data storage.
  Gson: For local JSON data parsing.
  AmbilWarna: For the local theme color picker.

  
👶 6. Children's Privacy
  DigiPulse is not directed at children under the age of 3 and does not knowingly collect any personal information. Since the app works entirely offline, no data      can be transmitted from a child's device to us or any third party.

📝 7. Changes to This Policy
  This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect app improvements or new features. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
